SPA PEDICURE: This all-inclusive begins with an essential oil foot soak & sea salt exfoliation for softer smoother feet and legs, followed by nail shaping and cuticle care, with a foot scrubbing, moisturizing mask, paraffin dip, and foot & leg massage finishing this pampering moment with a buff or polish.

Manicure and Pedicure

We rarely stop to take a minute and think about how much work our hands and feet actually do each day. We take for granted the fact that these parts of our bodies are almost always in motion and most of the time, the effects of that motion, can be damaging. We seldom fully realize the everyday damage that is done to the skin and nails of our hands and feet. Manicures and Pedicures are just the solution. They are therapy for our over-worked, under-appreciated hands and feet.

Manicures are therapy for the hands. They often begin with a warm aromatherapy soak which soothes the skin of the hands and softens the nails. Once the nails are softened they are trimmed and shaped along with the cuticles. This insures that your nails stay healthy and grow properly. Next, your hands are exfoliated often using soothing oils which soften your skin.

After exfoliation the hands are treated to warm paraffin dip which is a moisturizer enriched with vitamin E that hydrates and renews your skin. Next, a massage from elbows to fingertips loosens the muscles of your hands and arms. Lastly, your nails are polished and protected with a base coat, two color coats and a top coat. Depending on the manicure, it will include any or all of these wonderful options.

Pedicures are therapy for the feet. They too are likely to begin with a warm aromatherapy soak that sooths your skin and hydrates any dry or irritated parts of your foot. After the nails are trimmed and shaped, an exfoliation scrub removes cracked or dead skin and helps to alleviate calluses and other foot ailments. After the scrub down, a warm paraffin dip will work to hydrate and revitalize your skin.

Once the dip is complete, a massage from toes to knees works to loosen muscles and ease any joint or muscle pain that is caused by excess walking or standing. This also helps to release any unwanted toxins that are clogging up the muscles. Lastly, nails will be polished and protected with a base coat two color coats and a top coat. Like manicures, pedicures will involve either some or all of these options depending on the package.
